General Qualifications and Job Description

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. German Occupational Safety Specialist in accordance with ASiG (Sifa). 2 years of experience in EHS management systems or experience managing EHS compliance with environmental programs (e.g., emissions, wastewater, etc.). 2 years of experience in program or project management. Ability to communicate in German fluently in order to communicate with local authorities. Preferred qualifications: German Occupational Safety professional qualification, Credentials from Board of Certified Safety Professionals, NEBOSH, or equivalent agency. Experience communicating with AHJ’s (e.g., Federal, State, and Local Authorities) for notifications and permit conformance. Experience in data centers and electrical safety. Define, scope, and independently lead ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges, adjusting programs effectively. Ensure compliance with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) regulations, maintain permits and monitor program Key Performance Indicators (KPI) performance. Execute and manage site EHS compliance calendar tasks/requirements. Monitor and communication program progress, risks, and mitigations. Work closely with partner teams to manage changes and align stakeholders. Understand the EHS domain and regulatory landscape, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.
